Quicken profile needs updating
The meetings got a lot more interesting a few years ago, when Mint threw a monkey wrench into the personal finance software market, which led to Intuit acquiring Mint and bringing in its CEO, Aaron Patzer, to re-light the Quicken product line.
(You can download Quicken Premier, Quicken Home Business, and Quicken Deluxe from CNET ) Patzer came in with grand visions and ideas to make Quicken a more modern and relevant app.
I'm ok with paying them for use of a functional product and have been upgrading every 3 years since they started forcing this issue by terminating bank downloads as they did with Quicken2014 on 4/30/2017.
I've been trying to clean up my QData file and get all the downloaded bank transactions accepted into the registers before upgrading.
Here you can get your questions answered, share your ideas and feedback, get your problems solved, and give back by helping other users.
"The platform of the future is Mint," Forth told me. I love the auditor, that’s one of my favourite features. Intuit is more than just a software company: it’s a community. We frequently receive the question, “Should I update Quick Books? However, have so many I decided to see how the upgrade would go while keeping some of the entries unmatched, which was not recommended on the quick community. That turned out to be a non-issue as Quicken 2016 has worked horrendously out-of-the-box (I went with Quicken 2016 rather than 2017 as I read that in Canada, users were being forced to pay annual subscription fee which I was not keen on and wary of even though I am in the U. Did a test install of Quicken2016 on a separate Windows 7 PC before putting it on my main machine. First, after installing Quicken, converting my QData file from 2014 and then trying to open the file, Quicken started repeatedly prompting me for my Intuit user ID and password.
